Growing Baby

Baby needs new clothes.

We stayed a few nights in the divine valley of Vega de Valcarce, the last town in Castille y Leon before the steep climb into Galicia. We met the very sweet, shining and soulful Joanne who cooked us some incredible Brazilian beans with a great tropical salad. We ate outdoors, on the patio and drank wine in the light of July’s full moon.

It makes my hair stand up just thinking about it.
Such a sweet little face.

But don’t be fooled. She’s got some sharp gnashers in dem thar gums.

Eek.
Sometimes we stopped for lunch.

This was a particularly hard day when we climbed up to the Cruz de Fierro in Leon. It was an even harder day for Jim, pulling the trailer with the growing Piglet.
Taking a train ride.

Lots of days we had to take trains or buses to reconnect with the van. Complicated logistical stuff.
During a hard day’s work, the growing Piglet catches up on some sleep.
